General Description
Kaloha Holiday Resort is just a ten minute drive from the famous Penguin Parade. Each evening delighted visitors watch penguins returning to their burrows in the dunes. Phillip Island is also renowned for its Koala Conservation Centre, the Grand Prix Circuit and Seal Rocks with Australia's largest seal colony.
There are safe sandy beaches and the rugged surf coastline to enjoy. Kaloha's location is one of the best on the Island, ideally situated close to shops, and with our own direct access to a sheltered sandy beach. Golf, bowling and tennis facilities are all within a few minutes walk.
Kaloha is set in a beautiful tropical garden. The well-equipped suites have all the facilities expected in a modern motel. There are one and two bedroom suites with luxurious double spas. Family Suites of one to three bedrooms cater for up to seven people. Some have cooking facilities with microwaves, electric grills and crockery and cutlery provided. All suites are air conditioned and have colour TV and Video Cassette Recorders (VCR's/Video Players).
Guests can relax and enjoy the salt water solar heated pool with its shallow area ideal for children or the large hot spa under the Bali thatched gazebo, all surrounded by tropical palms. There are also undercover barbecues and a children's playground.
The Kaloha restaurant and cocktail bar offers fine dining in elegant surroundings with beautifully crafted Redgum bar and tables and views of tropical palms and ferns. The tempting a la carte menu is regularly updated and there is an extensive range of wine and beers. The wide veranda is ideal for outdoor dining or a relaxing drink and overlooks the pool and garden.
